Record profits for the 2nd year running

Local family drainage company Drains Are Us Ltd, based in Kenilworth, have just posted record profits for the 2nd year running.

The Company, which was set up in 1998, by Managing Director, Shaun Clifford, covers the Coventry and Warwickshire area and has recently expanded by opening an office in Northamptonshire and Leicester and Malaga (Spain) in December.

Mr Clifford says “every year since we started has got better and better, but this year has surpassed all expectations” which Mr Clifford puts down to the company having a good reputation, with a very loyal customer base and staff that are all behind the Company ethos and all want to do well.

Also as we are not a franchise we believe we can give a better service to our customers.Drains are us have many blue chip companies as clients and hope to add more in the future

2 of the most recent additions to the company’s fleet are a brand new Peugeot Boxer van which is decked out in the company’s distinctive banana yellow colours and a new state of the art digital CCTV surveying unit.

Keen to support the local community, Drains Are Us sponsors local football team, Kenilworth Town under 15’s, Leek Wooton Cricket Club under 13s, has just signed a deal with Coventry Bees speedway rider Rory Schlein and works with Coventry City Football Club, by being the official drainage contractor to the Ricoh Arena, to keep the drains running.

Mr Clifford says “the local community is important to me, as my family live in kenilworth. My 3 boys all love their sports. I feel we need local clubs such as Kenilworth Town Football Club and Leek Wooton Cricket Club to give our children somewhere to play their sports”
